About Me

Your Retirement Coach

Michelle Oram, CEBS, CPRC

After a 30-year career helping people save and prepare financially for retirement, I’ve shifted my focus to the non-financial side of this best chapter of life.

With people living longer healthier lives, retirement is an opportunity for reinvention and new beginnings. With that in mind, I’m using the skills and knowledge I gained during my career in the retirement business in my work as a retirement coach. I’m excited about my Second Life Vision and would love to help you with yours.

I have experience in financial education, retirement plan administration, training, product development, marketing, and plain language communication. As a creative communicator and facilitator, I share my expertise by speaking at conferences and events and contributing to industry publications.

I am a Certified Professional Retirement Coach (CPRC) and graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College. I earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation in 2003 and have volunteered locally and nationally with the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) for close to 20 years.

On a personal note, I’m married with two adult daughters. In my spare time, I’m a singer, blogger, and avid walker.
